It's been a difficult year for me. Considering the recession and the hard times Greece has been through recently, I was too busy at work and most of the time travelling for business. I tried to spend my very limited free time with my children and I am very glad we spent together a great weekend in Sifnos - my favourite island. So there was practically no time left for my favourite hobbies, such as blogging, fishing and travelling for pleasure.

It's a long time I haven't been fishing. Even if I don't catch anything, fishing relaxes me just by contemplating the big blue sea. I mostly fish for calamari - not always easy - and I often end up catching some sort of seabream such as lavraki or tsipoura. Not bad! With so many things going on in my mind, with so many worries, I've hardly had time for me! I know I haven't been blogging much this year but at the end of the day, when I finally had some time to spend on Blogger, I'd often hit a ..blank screen! Have you ever experienced this terrible blank? Not knowing what to blog about?

When I started this blog, I didn't really feel like having a niche. It's all about my thoughts - sometimes rambling, sometimes not - and often my life experiences. As a "blogger", I feel blessed to have a few good, faithful friends. Your opinion, your advice, your comments matter greatly. And I would like to thank you for being there, even though I wasn't always able to be there for you.
What's next? I'll be off to Skopelos for the next 2 weeks. I need some ME time. How about you? Have you planned a holiday this summer?

You are a wonderful person, Constantine mou and a great friend. I am sure that your true friends will always be here for you in good times and in bad times. Take the time to relax in Skopelos and forget all about work. I'll be off to Andros next week but only for a couple of days...better than nothing!
I'm off to Lake Tahoe on Saturday. That's in the Sierra Nevada mountains. It's gonna be a long trip but I'll sure enjoy camping there with boyfriend.
It's been a difficult year for most of us, I think. Let's hope that things will look up soon. We've just been back from a great holiday in the central highlands of Scotland spent mostly visiting friends and family and enjoying salmon and trout fishing.

I've often hit a dry spell and been unable to think of a word to write! Funnily enough, some of my evergreen posts were the ones I started to write while my mind went blank! Breaking through a blank screen isn't always easy, though. When I feel I have nothing new to say to my readers, I post a favourite video or use the Blog It button on TypePad. Enjoy your holiday!!!
Skopelos is a very beutifull island. Have a great vacation and a good rest.
I am having a great time in Skopelos. It's quite busy at this time of year but it's always possible to find lovely quiet beaches and great fishing spots.
